Phoenix to Austin
Off Road: FR62, FR27
I climbed up a path off Highway 87 to get a better shot of the landscape and my GPS switched the route indicating that the trail led through and let out further up 87. Jack-pot. I continued up the Mountain. The trail was easy and with time that proved deceiving. 2 hours later I was scraping my horribly ill equiped joke of an SUV against the brush to keep from rolling her into the deep valleys this path skirted. Going this far in I was forced to stay course as there was no means of turning around. Straight butthole clincher. These photos really make this part of the trip seem like cake walk as snapping anything in the harry bits was quite far down the list.
